Guidance for submissions to the Green Paper

How to submit


Contributors are asked to provide the following type of information for each initiative:

- Title of project

- Brief description of the project (including goals, progress, and achievements)

- Key contact to appear on website

- Links site with further information

- Images and/or video

- Company Logo

- Indication of the time line/milestones in your case study


Contributors are also invited to submit anticipated outcomes such as

• Estimation of key achievements and impacts of the action(s),

• impact on GHG emissions per cow or hectare,

• additional people employed/skilled up,

• power produced from a digester,

• factory efficiencies ie. reduced demand for electricity or packaging per unit of output.


Before submitting your contribution, please visit the Green Paper section of this website. Examples are provided in the six primary areas for both developing and developed countries. The Green Paper contributions ("case studies") are accessible to any individuals or groups online. The Green Paper is a living document; that is it will be regularly updated to reflect progress.

In the spirit of transparency and accountability, the information you submit onto the Green Paper will be considered by a review panel composed of specialists from the Signatory organisations to ensure credibility.

Selection process


The review panel for the Green Paper will review your submission of commercially applied supply chain programs/measures aimed to create a reduction in GHG emissions and other related sustainability outcomes (environmental, social, economic or nutritional).

Contributions that either primarily or wholly promote a specific company’s product or product range will not be accepted.

Timeline


You will receive a confirmation informing you that your case study was well received.

The review panel will aim to deal with your request within two weeks deal. You may be requested to provide additional information. If accepted layout will then be applied and you will be consulted right after to ensure that you are in agreement with the content and its presentation. When the consultation is finalized, the case study will appear online.
